Hi All,
This year I'm going to enter some pictures to the photography competition at the San Diego County Fair. I can only enter at most two (2!) pictures per category, and ten (10!) total. Below are some of the pictures I wouldn't mind entering, but I'm trying to figure which and in which categories.
Send me an email with your vote (I don't have time to make a voting website right now). Also, let me know if there's some other favorite I should be considering. Thanks!

Here's some advice from the admission form:
SELECTING YOUR IMAGES
Choosing your images: If you are not sure which images to enter, lay out the choices and see which ones have the greatest impact. Sometimes it takes an acquaintance to help you choose because your emotional investment may override your judgment.
Emotional Impact: Think of the viewer. The more universal the theme, the more successful the image. Very personal images can have universal themes, such as childhood, beauty, fear, joy, serenity, etc. Look for this in your people pictures especially. Color itself can have emotional impact, as do the tonal values in a black and white image.
Craftsmanship: In making the image as well as presenting the print, do not enlarge the negative/slide too much if it is not tack sharp! Color correction for color prints is extremely important. Judges can recognize a print that is too magenta, yellow or cyan. Detail in the highlights and shadows should be maintained in both black and white and color prints. Make sure the surface of your photograph and mountboard are free of dents, scratches, and finger marks, etc.
Entering your image: Choose the correct class!
Do not enter the same image twice! A shift of view from horizontal to vertical or change of lighting is too much the same . . . make a choice!
